Yesterday I noticed my neighbor on the hood of his car, applying one of those vanity decals to his windshield. Today, as I’m driving by, I take a peek and see that it says, “Dick from Hell.” (In an Old English font, of course.)
I’m really confused. First: Why on earth would you want to announce to the world that you were the ‘Dick from Hell?’ (If you really deserved that moniker, I’ll bet people would know without even having to look at your windshield.) But I think the thing that has me the most perplexed is why this sort of decal was manufactured in the first place. Is there really a market out there for this sort of product? I’m imagining the auto-shop manager on the intercom, “Hey Leroy — Go check in back, we’re all out of ‘Dick’s from Hell’ decals up here!”
